My conspiracy theory is that social media companies and search algorithms no longer feel like it's nessessary to cater their services to actual human beings. All they have to do is generate traffic to make their money, and if that means filling their services with AI talking to AI then that's exactly what they'll do.

AI can write text and it can create images. Why can't it do both at the same time? You'd think it would create the text separately, then turn it into an image to to with the rest of it.
