My father, Robert Daniel Menaker, died yesterday afternoon nearly a year after being diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He was in his own bed, in no pain, and with my mom, my sister and me.     Dang, I always liked how his dad would subtweet him all the time. It reminded me of facebook friends with cool hippie dads that were always on FB.

    I think one of them i'm thinking of also got cancer. I hope he's okay.

      I'll forgive them for delaying slop. Loss of a parent is terrible and I'm dreading when I have to go through it.
