Cause of death: climate change, cops, cars

“So the police were blocking roads, the exit, some of the exit roads out,” he says. “And I’m assuming it’s because there’s been some downed power lines or some downed trees.” Maui Police Chief John Pelletier confirmed that at a news conference two weeks later. "We did not close or forbid people from getting out of Lahaina,” Pelletier said. “If there was a downed power line that was live, we wanted to make sure that you didn’t go over a downed live power line.”

“The gridlock would have left us there when the firestorm came,” said Cuevas-Reyes, 38. “I would have had to tell my children to jump into the ocean as well and be boiled alive by the flames or we would have just died from smoke inhalation and roasted in the car.”

HOW THE HELL WAS HE ALSO IN CHARGE AT THE LAS VEGAS SHOOTING HOW HOW HOW. This country is such a cruel joke. Another example of cops failing "up" so they can do bigger crimes at another police deprtment until they make the news. Why the hell was this guy qualified to be a police chief in Maui, he's not from there. It seems like police chiefs basiclaly have to be vetted by the federal government or something in order to be allowed to be a police chief. Cities are constantly hiring them from elsewhere like they're some corporate executive. Because there's only so many thoughroughly vetted ruling class ghouls to select from.

I mean the conspiracy here is the govt is brainwashing people to think this was caused by direct energy weapons and not climate change, single occupant vehicles, poor city planning, & the US just destroying Hawaii

These people died because there was no organized evacuation.

Pelletier botched a response to something which does warrant a "conspiracy" investigation. We don't know what the fuck Paddock was up to. That was a weird fucking guy with weird connections.

This is just a cop failing up as usual.

The question with Q is not whether it's a psyop, but whether it was a psyop at the very beginning, or the feds got a hold of it later. You can go talk to Hotwheels in the Leftypol Dot Org Matrix chat, I think. May have left. He didn't like them.

Would they kill thst many people just to ban bump stocks? Or maybe it would be more of a "pid to keep quiet" kind of thing?

Ngl they take 3 hours to get around to saying they don't have a take. This was an episode where I really lost respect for people who insist Felix is interesting.

They do go over the police response extensively though. I think in light of other cop responses to mass shooters it's less shocking. They're just fucking cowards. Maybe there was a spec ops team in there next to his body firing with an LMG. I don't fucking know.

You know, despite myself I now wonder what his take on the potential China-Saudi Arabia nuclear deal will be.

I'm curiously waiting on broader reactions to SA & UAE joining BRICS-I-SEE-AU (I stole this acronym from Zhao Dashuai). Expecting Khomeini derangement syndrome as well.

The way we police in the US, it's helpful for cops to be from somewhere else.

As flames tore through a West Maui neighborhood, car after car of fleeing residents headed for the only paved road out of town in a desperate race for safety.

And car after car was turned back toward the rapidly spreading wildfire by a barricade blocking access to Highway 30.

Some died in their cars, while others tried to run for safety.

During a news conference Tuesday, Maui Police Chief John Pelletier said police officers drove up and down streets, knocking on doors and using loudspeakers to tell people to leave, but he didn’t say exactly where and what time those efforts occurred. The Associated Press has filed public records requests for location reports and other documentation including video and internal communications to clarify the details of the police and fire response, but Maui County has not yet released that information.
