For this Sunday Slop Night, first up is Eric Rohmer’s My Night at Maud’s (1969), about a staunchly Catholic man who struggles to stay volcel after woogin’ for an extraverted flirt. Will he retain his vital essences? I guess we’ll find out. We haven’t watched any Rohmer yet, despite his whole filmography being highly-regarded, so this seems like a good place to start. After that is the best-reviewed Georgian day dance film of all time, And Then We Danced (2019), featuring tension between two rival performers that threatens to get a little heated. We’ve watched several lesbian movies, but no real gay ones, and this one has received high accolades across the board, so let’s give it a whirl.

We’ll start at 9PM EST on Hextube, right here: https://live.hexbear.net/c/movies

Be there, comrades!

Rohmers six moral tales are good, I think my night at Maude's is one of the first. Claire's Knees is 😬😬😬 though. He's French so what can you expect.
