Hello all, I've been lurking here for about a week now, and from what I've seen so far, this site is absolutely fucking fantastic. This site's whole... aesthetic, for lack of a better term is perfection. It reminds me quite a bit of aesthetics used by 4chan and the alt-right during 2016 (which is what the left needs to do - fix its image.) Maybe cringy sounding, but this site, from what I've seen, is almost reminiscient of punk rock. Like I love the little text blurb, "consensual gay sex with you dad" "a home for the terminally online" "Hillary Clinton fan club." That stuff is hilarious! And it's so snarky too, I don't know if this will come off as weird, but I really want to emphasize that I think this site has the perfect image for the left - snarky, edgy, funny, and rebellious. I'm really glad to see a lack of radlibs saying "go vOtE," and that awesome image for the megathread is perfect.

I Don't want to rant too much anymore, but I made a little banner that I think would look awesome. I must emphasize - this is an extremely rough draft, and I only made it for the purposes of a very rough example. It would be awesome if someone much more graphically talented than me could redo this design, and I would be thrilled if the mods would use my design for the site banner. Here it is -

Anyway, the banner would basically be a juche logo at each end of the banner, followed by a Squirtle with sunglasses that has the anarchy symbol in the reflection, then Communist nyan cat, then the chapochat logo, then communist doge, then anime stalin (and then the juche logo again obviously)

I feel like that banner kinda gives off similar edgy sort of vibes that the alt-right did in 2016, and so I feel like it would help make people find the left cool again.
