Lol I though Anthony van Dyck was the name of the jockey and I was psyched for a minute.
Like finally the tables have turned!
Poor guy just couldn't remain on the saddle anymore. It was the humane thing to do.
Yeah I guess he was seen whipping the horse, tragic really but there's nothing else to do. When they get a taste for this sort of thing you just wouldn't be able to trust him anymore. I mean, would you leave this guy alone with YOUR horse? no way
And in this particular race they run quite far, puts extra strain on them :(
