I wanna make a small trolling account to mess with libs and chuds on reddit, because doing it on my main account is too obvious. I did a bit on one of these voting megathreads in r/politics where I pretended to be a family man who sits down with his wife and kids to discuss who they were gonna vote for, and his kids convinced him to vote for PSL after having voted for the Democrats in every other election. It made them all really mad, but what sucks is that some people looked into my profile and figured out I live in Greece (although someone answered to one of them that Americans who live in other countries can still vote and that they should amend their comment because it may be used to suppress voters in other countries lmao).

I kinda liked that bit, like, I could be socialist Ken M. But idk, the Ken M style bits are kinda old. So I'm not sure. Any good ideas?

I like the theme. Maybe claim to have a ridiculous but believeable number of pets and use them as tortured analogies to explain/understand what's going on?

'Believe me, I know an animal house when I see one. It's just like the book.'

'(Current political story) is just like when we had to de-worm all eight of the cats. You see....'

        Also a good bit. Nice.

I also like the idea of doing "million dollar challenges". Just saying "whoever proves/disproves [almost obvious thing], gets 1 million dollars from me, but no one can!". And then when one does I just move the goalposts or pretend I don't understand and say "next!".

Nice yeah that is excellent redditor bait. I dunno how weird you wanna go but perhaps it could be something like a set of pre civil war silver service that your grandad left that they win. Go on a long ramble about how 'it's worth way more than that clown at the auction house said it was' and that it's 'buried up in the woods because I don't trust banks.'

Oh, I thought about replying to threads on various subjects by just saying something like "that's not what my grandfather died in Gallipoli for!".

That could fit in nicely, especially if you use it for things of importance ranging from genuinely terrible things down to stuff like I dunno an extra 0.5% tax on frozen yoghurt.

OK I made it. I called the account JohnSchultzEngineer, because I thought it sounded sufficiently like a mayo boomer who is upper middle class but possibly rural.

Yeah that's good. Engineer could cover an awful lot of things there and excellent name choice. I look forward to seeing what you do with it.

Right now I am trying to not be very controversial because I want some baseline karma on a lot of subs so that I can post without having to wait. Why do I have to wait 15 minutes between posts though? Is it normal for new accounts? I don't remember.

Now I'm just wondering about the name. I'll think of something.
