I actually never progressed past that point in the game because I didn't want to fight/kill the dinosaur, just put the game down and walked away.

in hindsight her being ukkk was a tipoff.

This is crazy. I played Tomb Raider 1-3 on PlayStation waaaay back in the day, and thought it was cool, although terrifying (that butler in 3 scared and haunted the shit out of me).

Fast forward to just a few months ago when I decided to re-watch some gameplay, it genuinely hurt to watch her killing endangered wildlife. I just couldn't feel any redeeming qualities in her after a deep reflection.

Isn't her whole thing supposed to be basically a pirate that steals indigenous artifacts from the hands and nations of the natives, while also showing no regard to the lives of such sensitive wildlife species? She does far more harm than anything else, that I've seen. Reminds me strongly of the legacy of the British Empire and British imperial plundering.

In Tomb Raider 3, Lara kills endangered wildlife and indigenous people in various parts of the world as well as homeless people in London but at one point she also shoots her way out of Area 51 🤔

    spoiler

Also she kills some more dinosaurs
