I wonder what portion of Latinos flipped because they were tired of white liberals saying "latinx"

I looked it up and 12% of Latinos dislike the term: https://www.pewresearch.org/hispanic/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2020/08/PHGMD_2020.08.11_Latinx_0-05.png

But this is among the Latino people who even know about it, which is only 25% of Latinos, and skews young. My guess is that percentage would be even higher among the Latinos who haven't heard of it (and are thus older or younger but not terminally online)

Even though only 12% actively dislike it, 97% do not identify with it

Well if Matty is saying it that means literally nobody flipped because of that then.

i thought you meant it as it is dumb to reduce the latino population into a voting block when latin american countries have a complex racial and economic background so acting as if they are a unified block is really bad as their interest may very but AS I SEE THIS IS FOR AMY GOODMAN ONLY i shouldn't meddle in your business

Yes but I don't care and just want to make people argue again, also I heard latinx at least fifty times today on the radio and the white dems are back on their bullshit

Your power levels continue to astound me comrade, critical support to your struggle session so that we talk about something else, and evergreen white dems delenda est. I wish we could have a gender neutral alternative to Latinx that libs can't co-opt because then all of this goes away, but also defeats the point of alternatives that everybody should use.

In the queer community people have been using the term "Latinx" for almost 10 years now. Just fuck off about it

As the Latino Voting Bloc, I demand to be rotated so that I can slide into the gap that will get us a Tetris and clear the board

This is easily the dumbest struggle session, on both sides.
