"Freedom of speech rights" or really any kind of political rights are only ever given in ANY country after the opposition has been striped of power and neutered through suppression until it is not an active threat to the order of things.

    What I am allowed to speak out against is more important than my ability to say it. Sure I can speak out against the government-to a point until they jail me for sedition or whatever. I have no rights to speak out against my boss or employer or else I’ll be fired. If I speak for my beliefs I am yelled at, ridiculed, or blown off for being a communist.
