"you just don't understand how decades of improvement in crumple zones and saving lives was actually a bad thing, cars should be steel tanks that don't handle physics at all, going back at 1960s car design is true forward thinking innovation."

Elon doesn't understand physics of car crashes so he sure as fuck didn't do the actual work to make rockets, he paid people to create his drawings from when he was 10.

decades of improvement in crumple zones and saving lives

This auto industry cope is basically also bullshit. Cars generally have gotten larger and more dangerous for anyone not in a car, or even not in a new car.

yea that's a different issue. but take the increase in pedestrian deaths and the decrease in auto deaths and it's definitely still a net positive.

The wheels are so badly mismatched to the design of the body. I guess the trucks are still in pre-/alpha

Looking to buy a Tesla soon. May need to wait for this cybertruck.

I think the more I look at it the less ugly it looks.

If you're truly wanting attention when driving around town then this is it.

Funny, they just keep getting worse the more I look at them. The fucking panel warping everywhere resulting in the ugliest goofy ass reflections is just beyond egregious. Come on, DeLorean figured out that sucks and how to fix it for free over 40 years ago.

other car manufacturers do put a film in some front and back areas to protect the car during transit to dealerships, but it's not duct tape. it's more like a cling film without the gobs of adhesive that can dry and leave residue that duct tape has
