I like how completely, without any irony, people were like "Stop being an unbiased outside observer!"
I remember when Libs were wanting the south to secede after Dubya was re-elected until people shut them up by reminding them that meant consigning a majority of Black Americans to living in Dixieland 2: Confederate Boogaloo
I'm confused at how libs think gerrymandering causes GOP wins in the presidential race.... districts don't matter except in Maine and Nebraska, a total of 3 EC votes can split off.
Gerrymandering is bad, it just doesn't impact the pres election.
I mean, the Electoral college kind of does “gerrymander” it in a way, but the anti-democratic nature of it is honestly more egregious than some of the worst jerrymandering we have. Democrats will never talk about fixing this, though.
Wouldn't they want to abolish it though considering it only helps Republicans and hurts them?
And yet it's an extremely fringe position in the party because they a) care more about preserving the norms. and b) don't really want to make electoral reforms that may hypothetically weaken the control of the parties. and c) don't actually want to win.
i think you might be misunderstanding me. or I'm misunderstanding you? I'm complaining about that tweet where they didn't care about flint Michigan because it went red for a little bit. they said they're all racists, when they're probably just disenfranchised / apathetic
