It's fascinating seeing reddit tier discourse show up here, you can generally tell the person's a lemmy user (outside of their @) just by how outright hostile they are. Hexbear is a lot more playful and fun by comparison. Like a lemmy reddit lib will straight up tell you to eat shit and die while a hexbearino will just clown on you.

This is because we've been off reddit for about 4/3 years, enough time to create our own culture and lore. Most of these new lemmy users are just redditors who migrated there. They have their eternal redditor lib brainworms.
