    Hedges sucks sometimes (its the jesus) but he really does see the american landscape for what it is

      Oh is he a jesus freak? I’ve not dug too much into his stuff, when I heard him talk about spirituality and what not I thought he was talking in a general sense, more “we killed god and replaced it with commodity worship” not literally “we need more God”

        He was hardcore catholic earlier in life but is against the church now. A lot of Christian thinking still influences his work as you might expect having been brought up in that way.
