Gotta love it, the greens lost being professional losers. They couldn't even get 2% in New York and will be shut out of the system in 2022. Hats off to the true spoilers of this election, the fucking libertarians lmao. They'll get government cheese before the greens, Stein went to Russia for nothing.

Yeah but at least the psl and the libertarians know our democracy is dumb, the greens seriously think losing so hard that they cause others to lose too is a winning strategy.

I'm not buying it. The only people voting green are doing it explicitly because the Dems suck. Green votes are not transferable to the Democrats.

There are probably far more voters who would've voted Hawkins and down-ballot dem but instead stayed home than there are voters who would have voted Hawkins but instead voted Biden

There are a non zero number of people who walk into the voting booth planning on voting Biden, say fuck this shit and vote green.

In democrat analysis there are only voters and nonvoters. Making any attempt to energize nonvoters is a waste of effort because they are not disenfranchised by the hostility of the electoral parties but simply are irreparably lazy. Voters on the other hand are simply motivated by a general desire to vote and to win the majority of them you have to make your policy as close to the opposing parties as you can in order to capture every vote "left" of their base following Hotelling's law

The Greens are a joke anyway and have been for 2 decades now.

Stein went to Russia for nothing.

Jill stein has been critical of the Howie faction of the Greens this cycle (the leadership put its thumb on the scale during the greens primary to get Howie as the nominee).

I'll quote Jimmy Dore: "Howie Hawkins will be the death of the green party".

That certainly seems to be the case, he ran an uninspiring campaign, and was shut out of the MSM, and now the party gets to spend a cycle to rebuild.

How is the "WiFi might be harmful" lady better than the guy who is essentially Bernie++?

The performance of the Green party nominee is inversely related to the performance of the Democratic nominee. That's all that happened: Clinton lost, Biden won.

and was shut out of the MSM

As if Jill Stein and literally every third party candidate since Ross Perot wasn't?

Ehh, I don't care as much if the candidate is good. I doubt Dario Hunter or whoever would have done better.

Maybe someone more plugged into Green Party politics can fill me in. What is the difference between these factions? To me it seems that most of the circumstances leading to their demise (the media blackout, the vote shaming, etc) were entirely outside the control of the party no matter who they put forward.

That said, I was never sure the party was capable of being rebuilt in the first place.
