In chapter 5 of State and Revolution, Lenin places emphasis on the fact that the working class is the majority of the population, that the DotP is the suppression of the capitalist minority by the working-class majority, that liberal democracy is a de-facto democracy of that minority, like an Athenian democracy for the slave owners.
