Don't join the military, and draft dodge as much as humanly possible. There might even be a draft since the Trumpers won't listen to the libs, and we won't listen to the libs. If it doesn't happen, whatever, but in case it does best to plan ahead now. The question of more war was never a question no matter who was chosen to be liar in chief, I wouldn't be surprised if massive amounts of people refuse to serve this administration for one reason or another.
In the event of a draft, some will get caught and forced to go. If that's you the best thing you can do is sabotage the war effort, try to turn the war into an anti-capitalist one, and teach war tactics to comrades at home.
Imo, short of us entering a land war/invasion with China (which is incredibly unlikely, like to the point it's not even worth discussing) we will not see the return of the draft. Also, you're underestimating nationalism/overestimating party loyalty if you think 'what party the president belongs to' makes a meaningful difference in recruitment or deploying troops
