    The blade should have a serrated edge with a tooth for each neck. By using one long blade with a shallower angle you're reducing the reliability, and if someone on the left doesn't sever properly, as was somewhat common with the conventional guillotine, you have to pull the whole blade up and start over again for everyone.

    edit: actually I guess if it's making contact with every neck at once it's going to need more force. i think we need more experimental evidence before reaching a conclusion.

      We probably won't run out of trial subjects too quickly. How many billionaires are there again? War profiteers, fake ass 'progressives' that are just fine with a 700 billion dollar pentagon budget as long as their 401k performs...
