      Then I'd assume their parents aren't this annoying about politics. I went to school with a lot of religious kids with religious parents, and the one underlying similarity was that those kids and their parents had fairly healthy, enjoyable lives that didn't revolve solely around politics. Evangelical christianity was just another thing they did.

      Me and my main (read: only) close friend had one thing in common, our parents were absolute AM radio Brietbart-reading psychos who couldn't live their lives for an hour straight without getting mad about politics, and we both moved far away from their positions.
