    It's wild that part of Libertarianism's moment in the 2000s was based off them being the most vocal against the invasion. Libs had little to say (except for Barbara Lee).

    Weird fucking time. And for my own part, I didn't believe we'd invade, I figured it was far too dumb an idea to invade and that it was just saber rattling for Iraq to allow inspectors on humiliating terms.

    I, uhhh, did not cover myself in glory with that line of thought.

      Libertarians were not the most vocal group against the war, there were tens of millions of people across the globe who protested it.

        In the US, the Libertarians were the main group against it. The left was basically non-existent at that point in the US.
