      Is the spreading of a banks' bad bets to the poors not a form of socialism for the rich?

      Edit: I 100% believed it was the "gov does stuff" definition. Not gunna delete my post, you know, for the future libs who see the light like I do

        Not really, Socialism is when the workers control the means of production. You're using the American definition which is "Socialism is when the government does things and more things it does the more socialist it is". This video should help (and is also the source of that joke).

        No. That's capitalism. It's capitalism when the state works hand in glove to deepen the wealth and power of the ownership class.

        Socialism isn't tax distribution, it's workers having direct control over society and the tools to create wealth.
