Just keep doing push ups until you hate it. Also diet
do that along with squats and situps a few times a day every day, and run (or jog/ walk at first)
As a fat person, I say only push-ups.
I know fat guys who can squat. Think about it, those legs of yours have to carry your ass around all day. They can lift you up and down a couple times.
