no problem comrade! Ljubljana is a rather small city and there isn't much to see outside of it's center but it makes for a great quick and affordable trip. if you want to see even more of Slovenia I'd recommend Maribor, Murska Sobota and Nova Gorica/Gorizia or more rural sites like Logarska dolina or Triglav (the tallest peak in former Yugoslavia) if you're into mountains.
I did this a few years ago and it was fantastic. Ljubljana is a great hub, and there's buses to pretty much everywhere you'd want to go in Slovenia. Definitely check out
Vintgar Gorge too, which is near Lake Bled and is a gorgeous river running through a gorge you can hike in.
In the very center (POIs within walking distance of each other):
Near the center (within walking distance but takes a bit more time):
Thank you, I like to plan trips. I will never be able to make 99,9% of them, but Slovenia is not that imposible
All of the former Yugoslavia rules so much. It's very cheap, the people are great, the food is great, and it isn't that touristy yet.
Yeah, before Rona I was going to go there, I even have family. All my musaka dreams shattered

The plan was to sleep in Ljubljana and make daytrips from there

Day trip out to Predjama castle, it's a castle in a cave and it's the absolute coolest shit ever
Also made famous in a hilariously awesome Jackie Chan movie called Armour of God.
