  • i watched the first hour or so and got really tired of the dynamic between those three

    1. moderator asks a very vague question framed in the most EU neoliberal way possible
    2. bolton answers the way you would expect any american military spokesperson/media representative would answer
    3. yanis gives a detailed lecture about the socio-economic factors that brought us to this point, mostly blaming imperialism and neoliberalism
    4. mod is confused with their wildly different approaches and tries to move on but doesn't really know how to get them to meet on some common ground

maybe it would have been better if it was done in person, but the whole time i was just thinking "i could just be watching an actual yanis lecture/video instead of him answering lib questions interrupted by bolton's cia propaganda"

    making the “right” choices

yeah that was definitely one of the best parts of the game, the choices and consequences are so much more complex than i thought at first. unfortunately it loses some of its charm on a second playthrough but the first time i played it was an incredible experience

  • no problem comrade! Ljubljana is a rather small city and there isn't much to see outside of it's center but it makes for a great quick and affordable trip. if you want to see even more of Slovenia I'd recommend Maribor, Murska Sobota and Nova Gorica/Gorizia or more rural sites like Logarska dolina or Triglav (the tallest peak in former Yugoslavia) if you're into mountains.

  • In the very center (POIs within walking distance of each other):

    • Dragon bridge
    • Butchers' bridge
    • Tromostovje (3 bridges over the river Ljubljanica)
    • Cobblers' bridge
    • Prešeren square
    • Congress square
    • Pogačar square
    • Town square

Near the center (within walking distance but takes a bit more time):

    • Museum of National History
    • Museum of Modern Art
    • the National Gallery (^ these 3 are very close to each other)
    • the Ljubljana Castle (absolute must-visit)
    • Prule (a nice quick stroll along the Ljubljanica from the center)
    • University of Ljubljana botanical gardens (just across the river from Prule)
    • Park Tivoli
    • Rožnik (a hill above Park Tivoli, ain't much but it's a nice walk)
    • Republic square (if you're into brutalism, there's two Big Beautiful Brutalist Buildings on a Big Beatiful Brutalist square)
