It aint just boomers. Facebook as a website is literally designed to drive you fucking insane with rage so you spend more time tap tap tappin and see more ads for stuff you will never buy. Most social media is like that, it thrives of negative emotions and if you really want to make a big difference in your community get as many people as you can to log off every website that isn't wikipedia or TV tropes
