Ancaps are actually a type of ”libertarian “. 
They're just neo-feudalists that want to pretend otherwise.
Ancaps don’t want to abolish the state, they want to privatize it.
The invisible hand will ensure that all consumers can then buy the most adequately priced state on the market.
I love the more extreme kind of ancap, where they want to go all the way and privatize enforcement of private property laws. That, for me, is when it goes beyond just a garbage ideology, and becomes the purest transcendent form of garbage ideologies. If you ask them about those privatized enforcement agencies selectively enforcing the laws to their own benefit, they say that's fine, because people won't buy their services then, and anyway if they still have that power it must be because the market decided it's for the best. I'll tell them that's just the state again, and they say that's fine. Their ideology is so empty that it permits everything, and yet for some reason they still claim they want change. But as far as I can tell, their only beef with the government is that it descended from feudal land barons instead of business barons.

At the end of feudalism we ended up with a bunch of fuck ups in charge. At the end of neoliberal capitalism we ended up with a bunch of fuck ups in charge. I feel pretty confident another system of wealth and power consolidation will end with a bunch of fuck ups in charge.
A small percentage of them are just misguided, well-meaning loner weirdos.
Doesn't mean they deserve any mercy, though. Dunk on the lot of 'em.
I was on some gun posts on Reddit a few months ago, and there was a meme about how communists aren’t actually pro gun because they only plan on arming people who agree with them… lol.
But the kicker was that there were some anarchists in there trying to be a pickme and saying something like “well we actually support guns unlike tankies” and some ancaps replied saying shit like “being anarchist and anti capitalist is an oxymoron” 100% unironically
The weirdest type is the
anti-war ancap. I don't know how you think there'd be less war if the US essentially got rid of the middlemen and let the MIC and associated contractors run the government (which isn't really government so it's good).
