Literal Snow Crash. Why does China have to be so confusing? Sometimes they appear as the only bastion for socialism and other times they are the ideal capitalist state. Like, are they carrying forward the torch of the Soviet Union or the United States? Or are they an unholy child of the two 20th century superpowers?
EDIT - Okay, I just finished reading the article. This is pure, unfiltered capitalism. How can anyone who reads this article still claim China is socialist is beyond me. This is capitalism taken further than possible anywhere else, including the US. The reason China's is rising and US if falling is because China is better at capitalism. Simple. Socialism with Chinese Characteristics is Capitalism. Got it.
