Fun fact: leprosy was considered an STI in the Middle Ages (since it's spread by touching and any good Christian could see these guys had pissed off God something fierce). The Church provided houses with basic necessities for lepers, but made them swear abstinence as punishment, even if they were married and even if their spouse was also a leper in the same house.

The original post has to be a troll though. Social distancing from lepers is as clear an argument for social distancing as anything. Replace it with AIDS and conservatives would never fall for it.
