When I look at a thing like the Egyptian pyramids or Aztec pyramids or Mayan pyramids or Machu Picchu or the Forbidden Palace or any of the temples in Kyoto or Angkor Wat or the Aboriginal Australian ability to survive in the outback for tens of thousands of years or the sum total of art including all cave paintings or China's space programme launching its lunar mission, I often think to myself "how did white people accomplish such a thing?"

I love that racists will make fun of black people for saying the pharaohs were black, but somehow think everyone (in just the good civilizations) in north Africa and the middle east were white.

Don’t make any business deals with this man, they’re just pyramid schemes

We have pictures of the Ptolemies and they're distinctly "instant cavity search at airport security" in complexion.

I guess I learned something new. Do you mean pictures of their mummies or descendants? Is their historical writing on their appearance?

        Oh, like art pictures?

The faiyum mummies of course, though I dont think any are major members of the royal family and they're a very diverse lot in terms of skin shade.

But there are also busts and coins and reliefs and all show a distinctly Mediterranean look.
