    It’s far to benign to be staged. It looks like this person is a tourist, a lot of their videos show tour guides talking to groups and some karaoke and stuff. There is also a very interesting video of some women talking outside of what look like some shanties while squatting near a small drainage ditch. Interesting only because that is more the kind of video of real poverty in much of the DPRK the government might be sensitive about, but in the past couple of years several candid videos of that nature have been posted by people with work visas.

    Edit: looking at how far back the videos go, now I figure it is just somebody who does work in the DPRK. Having a work visa and business relationships with people in the country can give you pretty free access. I remember there was even a book by an American from the Kim Jong Il era about doing work for a German company or something there, and how he was pretty free to travel around. Once he had friends and frequent acquaintances in the state and small private sector, I don’t think they were too worried about his potential to be a spy.
