Airline worker here. Flights are cheap as fuck. My union local just had our 4th covid death. Apparently the airport is a charnel house right now, I'm glad I broke my hand a couple weeks back, might wind up saving my life.
Of course they don't give a shit. I barely give a shit and I'm stick in quarantine because of may goddamn coworker getting it. The half on, half off lockdowns, having to look up which restrictions change week to week, you can get paid time off but you gotta do xyz paperwork and send it to your boss. It's ass. This shit should have been done in fucking April, and it could have been if they had just paid people to stay home. But they didn't, so now everyone is gonna kill themselves and everyone around them.
Some people refuse to wear seatbelts -- until they get into a major accident.
