Haha, that professor makes it sound like women like men who rebel against trends. I guess that's true when it comes to my preferences but I can't speak for all women.
the professor was talking about the different types of natural selection, i can't remember what that one was called, where individuals choose partners who are "against the grain" but i guess that is one possible example of it in humans. wouldn't surprise me if there was some truth to it but i guess it was probably worth more as an instructional example than as a hard fact. still a fun bit of trivia
