He was literally known as a wimp back in the day lol. The media literally asked him about "the wimp factor" :agony-yehaw:

yeah i think there was a clip of that at the end of the recent chapo episode about him, and everytime the interviewer asked about someone calling him a wimp he just said "well could you ever imagine them playing on the chicago bears?" or something dumb like that lol

The only chapo episode I've listened to since the primaries lol. When are they putting out more in that series

What really made that answer obnoxious is that he just repeated it verbatim about whoever made fun of him. Dude, get some new material.

lmao exactly! like if he just said that about one person i would've just thought he was being weird and maybe i didn't understand the context, but then he said it again for someone else!

What he was going for was "this guy's just some fucking arthritic 55-year-old congressman, who's he to be calling someone a wimp?" It's a decent response until you try to make a dad joke out of it and then double-down on it after it didn't land.

i mean it could have worked if he wasn't almost 70 during the 1992 election OR if he himself had played in the nfl. but looking back it's pretty pathetic and i can understand why he was called a wimp
