OP story is pretty funny and based but the comments are a bit of a wreck
A coal mine in Appalachia, 1924.
A phalanx of Pinkertons, Thompson guns at the ready, stand off against armed, striking workers at a picket line. Tensions are high and it feels like a firefight could break out at any moment. Suddenly, a rich industrialist takes to his balcony, bullhorn in hand.
"If you break up this picket line and return to work immediately you will all receive 15 minutes a week in the company ball pit!"
Instantly the miners drop their placards and rifles, shuffling back into the dark depths of the mine as they weep with catharsis at all of their problems finally being solved. Finally, good management has prevailed.
They’ve gone OFF THE RAILS WITH DEMANDS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Such as ___________ and ____________ and wanting healthcare
There's a grain of truth in that preventing unionization is absolutely part of the informal job description for management
It's true. The Sindicato Vertical sucked, but it was a "union" created by the francoist regime and the only one allowed. But they are probably niot talking about that one.
