As a veterinarian I agree with 100% of this content. Horses are determined to die by any means necessary.
This is why donkeys are better than horseys. For both being massive hooved dopes, their reaction to new qualia says everything. If a horse gets startled by a strange object or quick movement, it will use its miniscule spark of a soul to radiate pure anxiety on every frequency and decide it's life is already over. If a donkey is suprised, it'll get mildly curious before remebering it weighs 500lbs & deciding to kick the shit out of whatever it is and call the matter settled.
I've seen these sorts of horse posts a few times and they're kind of insane lol. Like, don't get me wrong, I have encountered the typical being scared by paper bags stuff, but some people talk about horses as if they're straight up timebombs. Maybe its just a redneck thing of working with cheap, stocky, native to the area breeds, but I've literally never met horses like this post describes - they've been able to survive in the wild for thousands and thousands of years for a reason. What sort of screwed up horses are these people working with?

Horses are for rich idiots. Bicycles are the proletarian means of transportation
What if I feed you a carrot, will you die?
🐎 It would be extremely painful!
