Making your WiFi have the range of a straw that shoots spitballs and the speed of dail up to own the libs. On a serious note I use an old router as a WiFi extender because I live in a concrete bunker made my Enver Hoxha.
It's actually so bad, if I open my room door I can see the main router but still get zero reception in my room. Which is my I've converted an ADSL router that might be as old as me into a WiFi extender/booster.
Side note: I do not actually live in a concrete bunker made by Enver Hoxha.
Just go buy those little wire mesh baskets at the dollar store and clip a diagonal plastic box over half of it
I really cannot believe there are people out there that think their router emits radiation. How can they be afraid of something to such a large degree and yet not understand it even in the slightest. You'd think they'd at least get a Geiger counter or something to work with their paranoia and would find out that virtually nothing is meaningfully radioactive except your smoke detectors
Keyword "meaningfully" radioactive. Virtually everything emits radiation.
I was wondering if people concerned with EMPs turn their garages into Faraday cages though
I think certain chain link fencing works. i was reading this sci fi book by newt gingritch's friend where the entire country gets sent back to the stone age because of a nuke set off in the upper atmosphere or whatever and its like a few faraday cages could have stopped all of this
would it be wrong to mkae one of these and sell it and get the best rating by having it do absolutely nothing at all?

Anyways uuh, I bought a whole bunch of shungite. Rocks! Do you know what shungite is? Anybody know what shungite is? No, not Suge Knight. I think he's locked up in prison. Talking shungite! Anyway, it's a 2 billion year like rock... stone... that protects against frequencies and unwanted frequencies that may be travelling in the air. That's my story. I bought a whole bunch of stuff.
