What point are you even trying to defend? Do you honestly believe that there's nothing wrong with putting a chicken dinner in the oven, giving your 5 year old a remote of sorts, and going shopping at the mall because you feel like it is a reasonable and logical thing to do?
I read that as them saying that eating chicken is not ok. Honestly, my take on this post is that this is a teenager who cares very deeply about animals, came across some very disturbing videos of animals being tortured and reacted in a vile and racist manner, most likely because that's the environment they were raised in.
