    Covid was a patriotism-killer. Not really that surprising. Can't just normalize a deadly widespread pandemic and then seriously expect your citizens to mourn something that happened over twenty years ago.

      The media - of course - went on and on and on about 9/11. Yet covid is ~400 9/11s and it's still happening but the media ignores it. There can be no vengeance, revenge, or retribution. The problem is that covid can't lead to war.
