Bad Guy is a fucking bop. I loved it from the first time I heard it. Even though I don't follow the type of news that would tell me about pop music, I was vaguely aware of the "making music in her garage with her brother" story and based on what I know about the music industry I figured it was probably just marketing but whatever, cool if true.
