I might have POTS. My heart races a lot at random times and balancing salt/water intake helps. Salty food is life.

I'm concerned about how little I work out due to this.

Higher focus on diet and light calisthenics would probably be the best way to go.

I've been working on that. I need to fix something insurance wise first. I'm concerned about how much time I spend laying down or sitting down.

Yeah, please never never never mistake what a bunch of large adult children say on the Internet (especially the ones who are so online we have green symbols next to our names holy shit) for medical advice. That would, by far, be the easiest way to parody yourself. For anything we might suggest, a doctor or a physical therapist would probably have a better handle on what it means to deal with your heart problem. Stay safe, know the difference between good pain & bad pain, and have somebody knowledgeable and/or something to help with emergencies.

if you cant help but eat a lot of salty food, try to get in the habit of drinking a lot of water? its probably easier than cutting down on salt.

not a doctor and dont know what POTS is. but as someone whos in the habit of drinking lots of water i thought i would suggest it.
