CGTN did a nice propaganda documentary called Enemy On The Doorstep about that recently: CGTN.com or YouTube
China would then say: countries should resolve their own internal disputes, so stand back an let them have their revolution.
If revolution really happens and communists are winning, then USA eventually sends in troops to oppose the revolution.
Since having the USA army on their doorstep is a threat to their own security, China can finally send its own volunteer army.
If China tried to intervene directly most liberals would see that as an invasion.
USA/EU public opinion really matters here, they have to avoid starting an actual war, since that could end in nuclear exchange.
all the poeple that cause the sino soviet split are dead and the new generation of leadership has come up in a world marked by the fall of the ussr to assume they have the same positions simply because theyre chinese is stupid
If there is a Cold War and India joins their feared Eastern NATO I could see China maybe changing it's stance and at least try and get a US ally off it's doorstep. However, this is a different cold war.
Regardless, if it does get violent, and the communists start gaining, you can be sure this will become a proxy war as the US wouldn't want to lose a valuable ally in the new cold war
Except this time it’s hard to believe China wouldn’t be quite happy with its main regional rival going socialist
China isn't going to do jack shit to help the communists over there.
This is sounds just like Korea...

That’s not how China would interact though. They likely wouldn’t get involved unless the US did
I dunno, I'm not quite sure what they would do.
If they felt the winds changing I think they would start being more explicitly internationalist.
