I'm reading A People's History of the United States rn, bit by bit mostly while on break at work. Looking to read Washington Bullets next.
And though I've already listened to them in audiobook form, I'm looking to find some time to read or skim through State and Rev, Imperialism: the Highest Stage of Capitalism, Socialism: Utopian and Scientific, and Principles of Communism again so I can note down / summarize things from them.
I've been reading Imperialism: the Highest Stage of Capitalism over the past few weeks, and I've recently started on Russia: People and Empire, which is a history book about imperial Russia and the development of Russian society
i'm pretty sure that the reason i have a pdf of that book is because it was once shared on r/cth. so that's cool
Just started listening Cloudsplitter yesterday and making my way through What Is To Be Done. Not sure what I'm reading next. Been thinking about Capitalist Realism but maybe Conquest Of Bread.
K punk, a collection of mark fisher's writings from 2005 till his death. Escape from Freedom, looking for a book about mi6 in the middle east.
Mark Fisher's other writings have been on my list since capitalist realism, how are they?
As a yank, it's fun to go back and get a brit/left perspective on Iraq, Occupy, student protests in London. Lots of cultural critiques. Love his take on the premiership and late capitalism and the privatization of stress. So far so good.
Children of Dune. It's like the fifth time I've read the series lol.
