I'd build a compound in the woods and fund/train a group that would function sort of like a secret intelligence apparatus except instead of serving capital it would serve the revolution. Like a reverse cointelpro doing covert ops against fascists, pigs, capitalists and politicians.
move to the periphery, go 100% renewable small scale energy based resilient agricultural production to supply healthy, local and nutritious food (raw, delivered and prepared as needed) for workers, disabled and elderly people in the area. with priority given to organized labor groups engaged in industrial action, like teachers, nurses, etc.
anyone who wants to help gets a place to stay, plenty of food, access to the transportation infrastructure of the organization to get around as needed. It could and would probably offer some kind of payment system at the beginning, but the goal would be to spend all of the money on useful infrastructure and the material needs of the workers until it became something else, like a worker-owned co-op... but the mission of providing for the disadvantaged would need to prevail over the worker interest in being gratuitously remunerated... or I would haunt the farm.
and now it sounds like a religious institution. whoops.
