    . There is not a law saying he cant run for governor while elected, but there is one saying he cannot raise money while elected and the state legislature isnt in session. So he'd realistically have to resign to raise money full time.

      State campaign finance laws are so scummy. Legislators usually don't get paid enough either.

        Yeah, you have places like New Hampshire where State Reps make $200/term, basically designing it so only retirees, small business owners, and wealthy lawyers can afford to become a Representative.

      But he could do it while they are in session? I don’t see the logic in that.

      I wonder if somebody could set up a Super-PAC to collect online donations for him, so that he could keep his seat and still have the resources to get the message out.
