Yes, I know it'll be expensive, but it's cool if true

Hello I’m putting on both my climatologist and geologist hats for this one

All cars are bad. To get a battery that works this well you need lithium which is absolutely devastating to the environment. Don’t get me wrong, it’s better than using fossil fuels, but the real answer to these environmental problems is to rethink using cars at all. Looking to address climate change through cars is money laundering for oil and car companies. You know what has even less emissions per person than a fully electric car? A train. A tram. Biking. Walking. And at the end of funding these projects you know what you have in 20 years (long after the car battery needs to be replaced by mining more lithium)?????? You have an asset still used by the community.

Basically, we need an urban planning and mass transit revolution. Continuing to build our communities with a car-first mindset is destroying the planet (AND THE FUCKING COMMUNITIES BTW!!!!!! PARKING LOTS ARE WASTED SPACE)

Trying to fix our climate problems by focusing our energy in more production and individual consumption is just trying to fix capitalism by reforming capitalism.
