Basically the title. I've got a child on the way and it's my first one. I'm looking for any radical parenting books.

Any help?

'Everybody Poops'. It teaches that everyone is fundamentally the same. It also encourages humility, humanity. If 'Everybody Poops', everybody can work together to overcome Capitalism.

I saved this mostly because I figured if this archive was good enough to edumacate a kid, it'd be perfect for my dumb ass back when I was just starting to learn basic theory.

The Marxist Archive of Children's Literature

If anything it'll be a good read or a point in a decent direction for good reads for both you and your kid down the road

tbh one thing i feel is a big thing is to just not give your kid everything they want without work and without knowing the situations of others. i feel like it turns them into libs. like my grandparents were commies and gave their kids everything they could ever want, and they turned out libs. i dont necessarily blame my grandparents, they lived in terrible times and wanted the best for their kids, and wanted to give them things that they could never have. what made me left wing is i didnt get everything i wanted i think, combined with being trans and understanding how fucked up the world is, and not just in say Africa, but in America and Europe as well.

also, ask them lots of questions to get that critical thinking in.

We Had Everything But Money, it's a bunch of stories about growing up in the 30's. It's not about parenting particularly, my mom read it to me as a kid.

The person who buys parenting books won't be a good parent because they read the books. They will be a good parent because they understood the need to provide for someone they love and the sacrafice they may have to make.

I have a 5 year old. Parenting is Leftist by default. Teach them to care and share; to look out for the community and be selfless.

    You're going to do great.

    Also, congratulations!
