The face of a Very Cold Kitty. Took her outside, got scared from the snowblower and tried to run inside, start yell-meowing the minute her paws touched snow, looked back at me like "what the fuck have you done to the ground," ran to high ground, and curled up shivering for the duration of her time outside. Tried to feed her snacks, she was having none of it. I have never felt a cat shiver in my life, but it was very weird having her shiver in my arms as I carried her back inside because it feels subtly different to purring in a way I can't really describe. All and all she lasted about three minutes outside and it was worth every second. She's now safely inside, purring in the warmth and eating her favorite snack (these things, if you've got a cat I cannot recommend them enough!).
QUITE rotund kitty aww. What a daring adventure for her. I've been thinking about adopting a cat for a while but my housing situation isn't amazing for it. If I do get that worked out, I'll check out those snackies tho :)
Yes, she's usually not so round but she was puffing herself up because of the cold! What's not so great about the housing situations? Cats are pretty adaptable! You should get a cat—easily my highlight in a year of terrors. She's kept me grounded and sane.
Roomates with allergies haha
Ah, that does make things a bit harder. You could get a cat and then dress them up as a dog and gaslight your roommates into thinking they have perpetual coronavirus.
Now this is a plan I can get behind
