    Am I being a cynical asshole but is the whole messaging of “Biden’s cabinet is the most diverse in history” a way for them to avoid criticism and kneecap progressive politics because IDPol?

    Most of these picks are establishment or from private business lol.

        I guess I’m too nice to my lib friends who are getting excited over his Department of Interior pick who is a Native American and his EPA pick. Everyone here is so perceptive and digs up dirt on everyone who is going to be in The administration but I don’t know anything about these two.

        I considering never going into r/politics and insisting that the Biden administration should actually do stuff. What would be the point? They will virutue signal downvote that comment and all my other comments in the threads. And then I'll have a 9 minute wait on all posts in that sub for 24 hours or whatever.

        If you really get downvoted - it doesn't even go down to 8 minutes, 7, etc. It stays at 9 for maximum wrong-think punishment.

            Sometimes I don't even know why I comment in that sub at all. With the 9 minute (no decrease) wait - they managed to sometimes make me muzzle myself.

            I guess I could try humor. I could write four sentences critical of Biden and end with "But, yeah, he's better than the Cheeto. " But that would be bad too. The libs still win.
