Comrades! We are happy to announce that the Open-Source project Proletariat Research, Education, Intelligence (ProleREI) is live!
Who We Are
ProleREI is a collection of Leftist activists who wish to help build a better world, but who understand that gathering accurate data is vital to the process, and that data should be transparent, readable, and useful for people from all walks of life.
About The Project
The ProleREI project is a set of repositories that contain markdown documents. The repositories are: Research, Education, and Intelligence - located here: Repositories
Research is the foundation of the project. It is a centralized research database available for everyone to use and reference, with no restrictions. The primary focus of this database is to organize data to be used as a central "point of reference" for the other repositories.
Education is a democratized knowledge-base, and is likely the most useful and interesting to most people. It contains resources from around the internet that are useful to everyone, including Activists, Leftists, Citizens, and the Working Class. Also included are original publications that draw on the sources in the Research database.
Intelligence is for analysis and reports that will discuss future events and sensitive issues where the author's identity may want to be protected. Any reports published here will be announced publicly.

Getting Involved
We are on the lookout for new contributors who can contribute in any way possible: from updating current events(such as Covid and the George Floyd Protests), writing articles, finding data to fill in the gaps in our research, sharing resources and knowledge, or fixing typos and broken links - There is nothing too small for anyone to contribute.

Thank you for your questions. At this time, we have a backup repository ready on Gitlab in the event Gihub becomes hostile to the project's survival, but at some time in the future, we may self-host. To answer your second question, we aren't currently hosting code(GPL or CC0 is more suited to software, code, In our opinion) and the Unlicence is simple to read and understand for people who may not understand git or software licences. Additionally, we want the project to be used by anyone, anywhere, with no restrictions.
