imo it proves something more fundamental about how Western thought is bound up historically & made useless by thinking the past is naturally obscure or impenetrable
but the point being made as I see it is that philosophy should be a tool to help us notice iniquities & change the world, and not merely idly interpret these things. & I think even Heraclitus communicates that point where all these fancy lads since the Enlightenment can't understand it at all
